The school cross country carnival was held on our beautiful school grounds. Thank you to our school community for helping make Cross Country a success—we nearly finished before the rain arrived! We appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm on the day.
DeadlyScience visited our Stage 1 classes to teach us about making bush soap using Red Ash Leaf and beeswax, and we explored hand hygiene with a fun Glo Germ experiment. A big thank you to Janelle and Shandelle for sharing their knowledge and connection to our special country!
The whole school took part in Clean Up Australia Day, with each stage cleaning different areas around the school and local community. Eurobodalla Mayor, Matthew Hatcher also came to help!
On Harmony Day, our community came together to celebrate multiculturalism, inclusion, and a shared sense of belonging by proudly wearing orange, honouring the rich diversity that unites us all.
We were proud to be part of Narooma’s annual ANZAC Day march and thank our students and families for joining this special community event. Together, we honoured and remembered those who served.
Our Kindergarten students celebrated NAIDOC Week by building gunyahs with Ms Thomas. It was a wonderful and enjoyable experience for all.
Stage 2 students went to Camp Kianinny in term 4 last year enjoying fun activities that built physical, emotional, and social skills. They tried land and water activities like flying fox, archery and canoeing.
Our Easter Hat Parade was filled with ‘egg-cellent’ creativity, as students showcased colourful and imaginative designs for a fun community celebration!
In Term 1 and 2 Stage 1 students participated in a 5-week Learn to Swim program, boosting their water confidence, basic water skills, and survival techniques.
Narooma Public School shone at the District Swimming Carnival, with students demonstrating pride, sportsmanship, and respectful behaviour throughout the day. Their dedication and achievements made our school community proud.
Our talented students performed beautifully at the Bay Pavilions for the Far South Coast Dance and Drama Festival, showcasing the results of many weeks of dedicated practice.
