School NAIDOC Assembly
Friday 3rd July 2026 from 10am
Join us as Narooma Public School proudly celebrates NAIDOC Week with live and recorded performances.
At 11:10 AM, stay for a sausage sizzle lunch open to students and families. Families are welcome to remain on site during the lunch break.
Parents, carers, and community members are warmly invited to attend and join in the celebration!
Year 6 NAIDOC Excursion to Baranguba Montague Island
Wednesday 22nd July 2026
As part of NAIDOC Week, Year 6 students will go on an excursion to Barunguba Montague Island to learn about Aboriginal sites of cultural significance. Depending on conditions, we have two backup days in place for the excursion.
Public Education Week
3rd to 7th August 2026
Public Education Week is an annual celebration of NSW public education and the achievements of our schools, teachers and students.
Public Education Week 2026 will be held from 3–7 August (Term 3, Week 3) and the theme will be Inspiring Excellence.

This term, we’re excited to announce that our Kindergarten classes are officially joining our Whole School Assemblies. Assemblies are wonderful opportunities for our students to share their achievements, celebrate their learning, and build a strong sense of community.
Stage 3 Camp to Canberra
Monday 10 August – Wednesday 12 August, 2026
Our upcoming Canberra Camp is just around the corner! Students will have an exciting opportunity to explore Australia’s national institutions and attractions, including the Australian War Memorial, Supaglass Raiders Centre, Questacon, Old Parliament House, Museum of Australian Democracy, Rose Gardens, National Electoral Education Centre, Parliament House, Zone Bowling, Australian Institute of Sport, and the National Zoo and Aquarium. We look forward to an engaging and educational experience for all!
Stage 2 Camp to Cooba Sport & Education Centre
Tuesday 13 October - Thursday 15 October, 2026
We are excited to announce a 3-day, 2-night educational camp to the Snowy Mountains area. Our stay at the Cooba Centre, located on 200 acres, offers excellent facilities for a range of activities. The camp program includes team building and outdoor pursuits such as a ropes course, archery, giant swing, and an obstacle course. This promises to be a fun and rewarding experience for all students!
